2022 Reflective Supervision/Consultation Symposium: THE POWER OF BELONGING
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
Tennessee welcomes you to the 2022 Reflective Supervision/Consultation Symposium. How exciting it feels to be able to host this event in person and virtually, bring us all together in reflection.
For the first time ever, the symposium is being offered as a hybrid event. Half of the participants will be live in Memphis, TN and the other half will be online using Whova. We’re grateful you’re joining us for this exciting experiment. For participants joining virtually, there are 3 different agendas to choose from: Virtual Agenda 1 (MDT, CDT, & EDT), Virtual Agenda 2 (HDT, AKDT, & PDT), and Virtual Agenda 3 (IST & AWST). Given the many time zones represented in the Alliance, there are limited times that everyone can be together. As such the only time that the entire conference will be together is during the welcome, keynote address, and the presentation of the Schafer Award. For the remainder of the conference, you will have the opportunity to watch pre-recorded presentations and to reflect on those presentations in your small groups. Because participation in the small groups is such an important part of the symposium, you will only be able to participate in one agenda; they cannot be mixed and matched. However, you are welcome to choose any agenda, regardless of the time zone you will be in during the symposium. We also know that one of the best parts of the symposium is getting to connect with colleagues from all different places. As such, we are offering optional virtual connect spaces for participants to have the opportunity to spend time together, regardless of which agenda you are following. Please note the recordings will not be available on demand. You must be available at the time specified on the agenda you select.
We know that it can be challenging to join together without being in the same physical space. And with this hybrid model, we realize that the agendas will not be ideal timing for everyone. We invite you to take whatever steps you can to help you be present, whether that means attending in sweatpants or your favorite suit. We also welcome you having drinks and meals/snacks around so that you can take good care of yourself as we’re together. Although it can be challenging, particularly in a virtual environment, we encourage you to set yourself up in a space that will allow you to minimize distractions and be present with the event. Related, we ask that you ensure that you will be able to participate in all presentations and small groups before committing to attend because it is difficult to connect in the small groups if attendance is not consistent.
Please click on the link below to review all 4 agenda options BEFORE registering. Be sure to scroll through all of the agenda options. You will need to select one agenda in order to complete registration.
